Product Information
Kublai was a grandson of Genghis Khan. Although his rule saw the last of the unified Mongol empire, as the tribes fractured between those supporting Kublai's claim and those supporting his younger brother, nonetheless his name carries on in history as the first Yuan Emperor of China, where he supported many modern concepts, including introducing paper currency and rebuilding the Grand Canal.

Although having built a mausoleum in his spectacular and fabled summer palace of Xanadu, ancient texts suggest that his final resting place was with his grandfather Genghis and up to fourteen other Khan warriors - the site still remains unknown.


This texture set presents Kublai as still a young man, with optional hair cap, beard and moustache, and a choice of seven eye colours. The textures include bmp and displacement maps, and Poser 5+ shaders.

  • Options to include or exclude head hair skullcap, beard and moustache, or any combination of them

  • Eye textures are 1000x1000
  • Body textures are 3451x4000
  • Head textures are 4000x3500
  • Lash transparency is 500x500
  • Tooth texture is 1000x1000

Notes:
  • The character morph uses an external binary morph file, which will only work in Poser 5+.
  • The textures include displacement and ray-traced reflections in the eyes, so be sure to turn on both of these in your renderer for best effects.
  • Kublai is intended for use in Poser 5 or higher, but all the textures are complete maps with no masking, so you should be able to use them in other software; you may have to manually apply the textures.
