Gamekeeper's Hut
Magical Scottish Highlands Hut and Environment for Poser 6 and 7.
© 2007, Muralist
Magical Scottish Highlands Hut and Environment figure and smart props.
This is a scale model of a fantastic building in the Scottish Highlands.
The lighting and background simulates evening on the Spring Equinox at that location.
Twelve original meshes and unique, custom texture, bump, displacement and opacity maps bring the magical Highlands to life in your artwork. Fourteen original props included so your characters can inhabit the interior and garden outdoors. Add tables and cupboards to the Hut, harvest giant pumpkins, or fill the game rack with the bounty of the forest. Meshes, uvs, textures, and poser files optimized for efficient rendering and animation.
The hut and terrain are modeled from real world data. The lighting represents spring equinox, 1530 hrs, 2003.
The environment may be used for any scenes requiring a mountain vista.
For Poser 6 and Poser 7 ONLY.
Important Installation and Usage Notes:
To install, simply extract the contents of your downloaded product with paths and folders into your Poser folder.
If you do the following in order you can exactly recreate the environment as shown in the product renderings.
1. Start Poser. Delete all the lights in your scene. Turn off the Ground Plane and Ground Shadows.
2. Add IBLGlencoeSp1530hrs lighting to your scene. In the Parameter dial, check On Raytraced Shadows, blur 8.
3. Add the GSHutAndPropsP7 figure.
4. Select the GSHutCam0.
You are ready to render! Use the included cameras or your own, and Render with Firefly with the default automatic settings slider pushed all the way to the right (with Raytracing On, Use Displacement, Smoothing off).
A HELPFUL NOTE:
The best suggestion is to follow the above instructions (included in the Read-Me as well) and get the same results as in the Promo Renders shown here. If you render with a camera OUTSIDE of the product's sky-dome, you could end up with a completely black render. So start with the included cameras. Then you will be able to fully enjoy how the product works.
It is recommended that you do not move the directories or rename them as some of the references are coded directly to the installation paths. If you move or rename them, you may experience Poser searching for various files which you will have to manually point to after the search. Best results are with the installation as created by the Installer ZIP.
Have fun, and let us see what you do with the Gamekeeper's Hut in your renders and artwork!
